Overview

From 2 February, you will be able to access TU Delft on iTunes U. This programme will allow you to download and synchronise lectures and infomercials from TU Delft to your iPod or iPhone, giving you constant access to knowledge wherever you are. The range of information initially available will include lectures on Civil Engineering & Water, Architecture, Electrical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. Over the coming months we will continue to add new courses. TU Delft eventually wants to have a system in place where lectures are captured automatically and published on iTunes U instantaneously.  

Together with the Open University, TU Delft is the first university in the Netherlands to use this new mobile learning environment, putting them in league with top universities such as Stanford, Harvard and Oxford. With 200,000 lectures, presentations, videos and podcasts, iTunes U is one of the largest and fastest growing sources of free educational materials.

TU Delft will begin by publishing around 200 audio and video clips on iTunes U.

Engineering challenges

Under the headings Energy, Health, Environment, and Infrastructures & Mobility, TU Delft will be publishing readings, seminars and interviews concerning these important challenges facing society in an effort to make them more accessible. 

Courses

Using iTunes, TU Delft will publish lectures from the disciplines of Aerospace Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering & Water and Electrical Engineering. During the next few months, TU Delft will expand the selection of published materials on iTunes U to eventually cover its complete spectrum of degree programmes.
